Linus has observed some of the learning the children do and their special public speaking projects each week. Zoe has also shown Linus the beach and a terrible raft with hateful messages towards people on the island. This will all be a secret from Mr. Parnassus - Linus assures her.

Arthur and Linus talked more. I feel so poorly for Sal; what a sad thing to be through 12 orphanages. And a werewolf technically at that! I don’t truly think Linus has anything to fear with Lucy. And Chauncey deserves to be a bell hop someday… so sad nobody believes in his capability like Arthur. Having a hard time imagining Arthur and Linus but hopefully it becomes clearer later.

Linus has just been introduced to the house! I love how the house is described and especially the flowers and Talia.

Wonderfully delightful so far. I am having a tough time coming up with an image of Linus, but do adore how the world is described as both dull and yet bright. Linus has just been given his top secret assignment and I am thrilled to see where it is going; but poor Calliope being alone for a month! Poor girl.. let’s hope she stays out of her neighbours yard.
