I am re-reading Blood of olympus so that I can get a better understanding of it and have determined that by looking at the dialogue of the protagonists, they are all ready for action and are very witty and smart.It also shows they are compassionate and want to help as much as they can.

Suspense is the mood an author creates in a story. It is similar to anticipation. An example in my book is when Percy waits behind a door while the snake man checks to see if the coast is clear.

My favorite part of my book so far is when Jason is able to disperse his mother's ghost even though she is there because she is trying to trick him.

Foreshadowing is when the author hints about what is to come in a book. The author hints that Jason is going to meet someone on the mountain he is climbing to the dead person party/reunion. I think that someone dead from his past will reappear.
