Jordan loved that series. I struggled to get through the first few chapters. Need to give it another shot. How do you like it?

I loved it! I felt similar to you, the beginning was kind of confusing because I didn’t understand why I should care about the main character. But after the big twist a few chapters in (you’ll know it when you see it!), it got a lot more fun. Kind of a hunger games type deadly game situation, but with adults instead of children. I went out and bought the next two in the trilogy as soon as I finished it!

Good to know! We have the whole series downstairs. I'll give it a shot after I work through another JLA series or two. Still needing to follow through on my plan to read Dune this year 😬
