The epilogue was perfect. Skye led Walker on a hunt through hidden passages in the house to a servant's room where they made love. Skye gets to go adventuring with Walker and they found the missing treasure.

They both return to the house. Impostor & sister were hunting for the missing treasure. Corina above stairs and Parnell digging below. Real uncle died in a cave in because Corina was forcing him to dig. Parnell locked Annie and Matt away somewhere to die and did the same to Skye and Walker. Skye and Walker escaped. Corina died in end fight.

Plot twist! The inventor is an impostor! The real inventor was Walker's uncle. Walker has lived a very adventuresome life and Skye is warming to his story and feeling envy.

Skye's nightgown is wet with the attacks also.

Walker is the beau. Inventor shows her his engine, and tries to attack her. She can't get away and goes limp. Then she threated his workroom with a lamp and gets dismissed, except inventor wants her followed to see where she goes and then wants her brought back. There is a reference that inventor's investors are more like scams.

Skye gets housekeeper job. Two men seem to be vying for her, but Marshal is the one she is interacting with most. She starts off very well at the house. At night, she is somewhat getting fondled and likely drugged since she can't usually move during these things. On 3rd night Marshal is in her room and he gets hit on the head, but her room is locked. Is there a secret passage or someone using balcony?

Jay Mac asks her to spy. She is cut at skating party because they think she is pregnant. She hides among trees in park and witnesses 2 on 1 fight. Later that night, the house is robbed, and you wonder if it was the same man both places. The first man was gentlemanly, but the second man took liberties.
