hard to read without getting angry. However, this book pointed me in other directions to give it better context. I have read "Heart of Darkness" by Conrad. The events of that book coincided with the events taking place in King Leopold's Congo. I will eventually finish this book. Just amazing how vile and inhumane those Europeans were.
