I seriously recommend this book if you like westerns with a little romance. the story has little details that don't make sense at the time but, later in the story when the story completely throws a curve ball, you'll be shook. the main character Kate is the perfect combination of ruff and tuff tomboy and young beautiful woman whos figuring out who she is.

her father was killed by a gang of bandits and she dresses like a boy so she won't be recognized by people in town she corners a guy she shot in the outhouse tells her dad had a secret and the rest of the gang is riding to quarts rock then she kills him and gets some money and starts riding to a man her dad always told her to go see if something happened to him and she stopped in a little town and has a gun on her
