Sometimes felt a bit rushed for me re: relationship development & revelation. Also a bit unsure about their decision at the end. I get it re: the HEA & showing the level of love & commitment between Stacey & Harrison. Still, I couldn't help but wonder if she would have been emotionally ready only three months later in light of the tragedy of her past. Overall, a sweet, sometimes spicy novella about second chances...

He reached for her hand. "The more I thought about it..." He shrugged. "It didn't matter. I wanted to help you. Getting you that house is more than enough reason for this marriage."

He grinned. "I got you as my wife, didn't I?"
"I hope you aren't counting on a happy ending. I can promise, you'll only be disappointed."
