It the first book, the final scenes were a battle and it seems that this will be the same way because each point of view that is provided are coming together to one. My prediction for the end of the book is that there's going to be another dragon since the red dragon on the front has not revealed itself yet. Since there are still two more books I doubt I'll see galbatorix this book.

Prediction: From the past book I know that Eragons dragon is a purple color and even though I'm just over a hundred pages in I realized that there's a red dragon on the front. I'm predicting that there's going to be a dragon at the elf city. It seems that's we're the book is progressing to so there may be a dragon hiding there.

The book goes back and forth between Eragons point of view and then his brother Rorans. I'm predicting that something will happen to Roran or that Eragon and him will meet each other soon. I'd see no point in introducing Rorans view if something important wasn't going to happen.

Once in the elf city I think Eragon is going to learn a lot of things, apart from training. It seems there are a lot stones upturned in this book and I think eragon is going to look into all the mysteries of the elves and dragons. This part will be interesting, yet boring because I think training will go on for a while.

After a long break,I like this book but at times it seems to drag. I'll read 20 pages and not much has passed. The book seems to be organized with incidents and then the main character Eragon does a little debriefing on it. It could be something personal to him or it is about a decision he has to make. I think the book will progress to a whole different setting soon because the tronjheim one is getting slightly dull.
