I have been learning that it takes time and dedication to figure out why career best suits you. One has to be wiling to spend time exploring and learning about the career in order to find a perfect match. Although it may be hard one must stay motivated by setting mini goals in order to reach the bigger goal!

I have been reading this book as it says in the beginning chapters in sections. It says to not read it in order but to jump around or re read sections already read. So far this book not only goes the reader advice for college but also life lessons and how you should approach the future.

So far I have learned to not just explore the general topic of my career, but to see all the options that come along with it. Taking the time to set my big goal but to also set smaller goals to help me stay focused. Also to ensure I stay in path of my bigger goal avoiding distractions.

I am on the journey to figuring out what I want in life and setting it as a goal. This book it taking me step by step on the process of formulating my goal which would be my first step, my second step is to commit and actually reach my goal. The book explains what commitment should look like and gives examples of not being fully committed and how to fix it. The last step is to plan a path in order to stay on track.

Im really interested in the formatting of this book because the author writes how one would speak. There are many things the author says that will make you laugh and stay invested. I am learning many interesting things about what i really want in my future, also the author reminds me of YES in the way he enforces commitment.
