Turning into a very emotional ending.

Oh wait, there's more connection to Zen here. The souls of inanimate objects... not just a mental illness. This book is bizarre fun.

So there's an interesting connection to a Neill Schusterman book. I forget the name. Neill approaches the subject of new found schizophrenia from a clinical turned magical perspective. And Ozeki does the opposite.

So it's not magic, it's schizophrenia..?

The plot is fast moving, but I feel like I can't believe I'm only half done. Ozeki is a great story teller, though.

What an interesting book so far. It was hard to get into initially, but once I found the thread of the main story, it's really interesting!
