It's always strange to me when an author decides to jump ahead in time when it means skipping two characters getting to know each other. All of a sudden they are bonded, maybe even in love, but I as the reader have lost out in being able to make that same bond with them - I don't know what they know and it dampens the impact, the attraction. Jump time but don't skip the important stuff.

Ok well, this has gotten better. Although, it's reminding me of a short with similarities that was more clever, sly, with impact. Vee shall see... vee shall see.
