I am re-reading this book and I am still so impressed with how well the author caught my attention in the beginning. The way Park is so hostile to Eleanor and then slowly likes her is excellent. The author has surprised me multiple times so far with the different events that have happened in the book.

I became emotionally attached to this book. The amount of joy it brought me is amazing!

What I read today really put me in Eleanor's shoes and showed me just how bad it is for her at home. Eleanor is so scared that she will never be alone with Park out of fear of her stepfather. Park tries so hard to understand that while Eleanor continues to push him away over and over again because she is terrified that her stepfather will take Park away from her.

Eleanor and Park are starting to get more and more comfortable with each other as the days go on. Eleanor is usually a pretty mysterious person and doesn't tell anyone about her rough home life but she is starting to tell park more and more about her issues at home. The love that Eleanor and Park have for each other is hard for anyone else to understand but the two of them understand perfectly.

I feel like Eleanor is slowly starting to realize she likes Park. Although she's getting bullied in school, and her stepdad is a total waste of a human, all she can think about is Park.

I feel like eventually, Tina is going to come around and try to be friends with Eleanor. Or I also feel like Eleanor is going to stand up to Tina.
