This is turning out to be a quick and easy read. I am surprised, since I seem to have this illusion that older books are at an advanced reading level. Honestly, I would love to have a Turkish Delight. Of course, I would not stoop as low as Edmund so as to betray my siblings for some more of the Turkish Delights. But on the other hand, maybe I would. Who knows? As much as I want to go there, I've never been to Narnia.

I watched the movie this past month, and I am quite pleased with the book and how the movie turned out. Not that this spoiled the ending for me; I've heard about the ending so many times. But after watching the movie, I am able to appreciate the differences between the movie and the book and what each is able to do better than the other.

I believe I tried to read this series when I was about 8 years old (I had just begun to learn english when I was 5, so this was an extremely tough read for me). Am very excited to read this, since I have heard many good things about this book and the movie but have never gotten the chance to sit down and reread this book. So far I have just read the exposition and Lucy's journey into the wardrobe.
