This book takes place in October despite being called Summer Lightning.

“It was one of the things that first attracted her to him—that, and the fact that he looked almost exactly like Tom Cruise had when he was younger, like in Risky Business. Tripp had the same dark, spiky hair, the same sexy grin that revealed white, even teeth, and even Tom Cruise probably didn’t look as good as Tripp did from behind when he wore his oldest Levi’s that were threadbare in the seat.” LOL!!!
