I wasn't expecting to relate so heavily to Circe as a character, my love for mythology and gods comes from an aesthetic place - the intersect between art and history, but rarely would i say i'm emotionally invested in them, because well, their gods!
Millers portrayal of immortality makes some parts almost into a slice of life haha, love that i'm half way through and haven't even got the the odysseus/odyssey story.

just about half way through this, and wow, i wish i had read this sooner.
Miller has such a cleaver way of spinning greek myths and legends into modern classics all whilst keeping it engaging, accurate and beautiful.
Nothing but great things thus far, i read SoA in like 1 manic 12 hr all-nighter so this time i'm trying to enjoy it more by reading it slower.
