Well, that was poorly done, and now I hate the hero. I'm sorry, but refusing to give a boy's custody over to the only mother he's ever known, out of spite, when it's clear they love each other? Now he's the worst scum in the world in my mind. And I can tell this will be the lever he uses to keep the heroine with him, which is unacceptable. He's not redeemable to me. DNF
