Much better. It finally does away with the immature humor without sacrificing the tone, and actually introduces some much needed depth to the characters without shifting the tone of the books entirely.

Actually really enjoying it now. No existential threat but I think Kirkman is just nailing the day to day superhero antics now so that's it's enjoyable to read this time around.
