well i certainly wasn't expecting this turn of events. wtf

finally met the old guy. feels like it's improving a little.

this could be a dnf, still waffling. it's occasionally funny, and has some charm, but the term "flat affect" comes to mind. it's very tell-y, and does weird things like give a short summary, then a longer still 100% tell-y version. the structure and internal references make it all feel like unnecessary backstory also. :/
