In the book "no safety in numbers" the first character he introduced was Marco. He was a high schooler who was forced to fend for himself, he always found himself in some sort of trouble. With this being said the author shapes his character like this, with a mysterious and responsible way. This all started when he was running from a high school jock because he had thrown him under the bus for something he didn't do.

Although this event was towards the beginning of the book it was definitely significant, Marco heard ticking next to him in an air vent. He was confused and little did he new this event was about to change the rest of the book.

In the book ¨No Safety in Numbers¨ Marco plays an innocent roll. For example, in the book he innocently hides from a troublesome jock trying to hit him with his car. With this being said he always windes up in situations like this, hence his innocent and vulnerable personality.

Marco hides from a character named Mark. Marcos bikes dinged Marks car earlier at school, he then chances him into a parking garage of a mall and there margo hides. After checking that the coast is clear Marco finds a ticking bomb!! I can tell that this is the Inciting Incident and this bomb is what the book is going to revolve around.

By reading the first page I can tell that one of the main characters is named Marco, he is clearly have a bad day. So far the setting takes place in a parking garage. I can tell that he keeps talking about a mall and a drunk driver so I can tell that the mall might have some importance to the chapter/book.
