Some phrases set me on edge when it comes to romance.

I stop reading this book for a few days and I've forgotten every term. And she uses so many--some important, others just to be different. Still a fun read though.

They make me worried, but it's not quite like that in the end and I can defend my position on that.

Good to know, because it seems she's really invested lot into this world of hers. A lot of different terms to remember, but I'm finding that the more I read, the more I remember, so it hasn't bored me.
That's why I didn't find the 'infodumping' too strenuous. A lot of terms but they really aren't dumped on you in a way that can't be managed. The 'romance' plays a particular role in this book. It's not really about romance as much as it is about, well, attraction and rebellion etc.
