While I do think there is a lot of sound, good advice in this book, I don't think it's really practical to apply these tools the way the authors intend. I think a lot of this visualization they advocate is easier said than done, and the exercises themselves are a bit on the hokey side.

Maybe I'm over-simplifying here, but it seems like the chapter on Jeopardy could pretty much sum up the entire book and take the place of the rest of the so-called tools. This is a big reason why this book has been such a frustrating read for me. It all seems like so much fluffed-up bullshit.

Now, the chapter on grateful flow is something I feel like I could use...even in place of active love, which is still a hard concept for me to grasp

I am starting to understand the other reviews that talk about how this book is mostly filler. It has a lot of important advice, but I'm getting more benefit and understanding from the 2-3 page real life examples and the chapter ending summaries than the chapters themselves.

Thought provoking, but the issue I have with so many books like this is that the advice is often much easier said than done.
