Shadesmar is weird. Like the Upside-Down, or Taco Bell.

THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW AND OH GOOD HEAVENS MY BRAIN JUST EXPLODED AND NOW...oh, that's better. Wow. Life is really much easier post-brain. Thank goodness for Brandon Sanderson.

Like, a lot has happened in this book, and I mean a lot, but it doesn't feel like 850 pages worth of stuff has happened.

Does that make sense? It's like talking to me for an hour. Sure, it's probably the best hour you've ever spent, but we probably could have done it in 30 minutes.

I have crossed the 700-page mark and no one has given me a cookie or balloon.

WHAT THE HELL??

Every time Navani and Dalinar get down, I feel icky. It’s like watching mom and dad, or at least your guinea pigs, go at it.

Kaladin and Lirin would totally have awkward thanksgivings.

Paul Or a Taco Bell in the Upside-Down. Happy Christmas!

Sean Gibson *Shudders*

Happy Christmas, my good man! I’m sending Santa down your chimney right now...

megs_bookrack ((struggling to catch up)) I can't even begin to imagine the horrors of a Taco Bell in the Upside-Down!

Sean Gibson ...but maybe in the Upside-Down, Taco Bell is fresh and healthy!

Sean Gibson Ha!

Paul Ha! Taco Bell is my wife’s favourite fast food choice... I could take it or leave it myself. Just as well, as they’re something of a rarity in the UK.

We don’t have a chimney but I’m sure he’ll manage somehow...

Sud666 Sean, Sir Paul best of Christmas wishes for you both. Great idea about TB for Christmas! But here is an equally savory alternative- the new Spam and Oreo burger!!! Yep!

Paul Eww...

Merry Chrimbleations to you, too, Sud!

Sean Gibson Spam and Oreo--I'm in if Sud is buying! Happy Christmas, friend!

Jonathan O'Neill I always saw it as a giant ball pit. You know the kind you'd find at a kid's indoor playground. Just don't tell random parents that their kids are floating around in the souls of inanimate objects, it goes completely unappreciated!
