My prediction was correct R did become human. Julie's father shot R in the chest and he felt pain, if you were a zombie you wouldn't feel pain like a human. The message that Julie made was so well said "maybe if the zombies learned how to be human again they will become human." Julie's quote does point out a relevant fact because as R tried to act more human his brain developed his actions to become human again.

So far in the book Warm Bodies there's a zombie named R he is a unusual zombie who like normal zombies eat humans and there brains but he slowly feels human by the humans memories. R just met A girl named Julie and she is now with him trying to give him a more human look so that her father won't try to shoot him. Julie has a feeling that he is not an ordinary zombie. I predict that R will turn human.
