I love Dirk and Gracie together so much. They are going to make an amazing couple when the time comes. Gracie was right for advice for Cole with Emery. Had to fight for her and put his cards on the table. Hopefully it’s an epic scene that is coming my way. I’m anticipating it so much.

I knew it. I knew it was Gracie was writing that lost book. Now trouble is a brewing now that both Cole and Emery knew the truth. This is going to be the (hopefully) last wedge that going to come between them. I hate to see what Cole’s reaction going to be. Is he going to push Emery or is Emery going back to work to face the backlash? I guess we will see.

Wasn’t expecting sexy times quite yet. I thought there would have been a little more groveling before that happened. It was a little fast from them arguing to sexy times in the truck. I wanted more pacing between the make up and hook up. It was hot and sexy though. Not a fan of sleeping together knowing it’s just gonna be while she stays in town. It’s just makes just about the physical. Don’t care for that

No, Cole that’s not what Emery was doing. Yeah, she didn’t put her cards out there, but she never lied. I get why he was pissed. I knew he would be pissed, but he’s also being hard headed. Not just with Emery either. He really needs heal and accept the situation. He really needs to forgive himself. Hopefully he comes to that realization soon.

Another potential pairing in the series of Zane and Carly. I think so. The spider scene between them was hilarious. There quite a few humorous moments in this one, but there are serious ones too. I’m still loving the parallels between the romances in the Tender Heart series and their current romances. It’s a really nice touch.

Well, the cat’s out of the bag now. This is going to spell trouble. Rocky road is ahead for Emery and Cole I’m afraid, but at least Emery was trying to keep honest between them before Cole knew anything. I don’t think that’s going to matter to Cole at the moment. I love Dirk so much. He brings humor yet wisdom to the story, which is great.

Oh boy. Lots feelings going on. First thought, was how romantic it was of Cole to take Emery to that chapel that was featured in the book series, knowing how much it meant to her. Surprisingly they got hot and heavy in that chapel. I thought they might have their first time there, but didn’t. Then a foreboding feeling came at the realization that Cole is the only one to sign the rights to that final book. Yikes.

More layers are in the mix. I love how there are little snippets from the Tender Heart series that parallel the relationship between the characters in the series Etta and Rory to the present of Emery and Cole. I loved their date night in the diner with sweetest kiss. Cole is willing to date her while in town for the next week, but Emery holds secret of why she came to town. When he finds out, he won’t be happy.

I can see Gracie and Dirk getting together in the future book. The setup is there. I wanna read it already. This chapter answered why Gracie never got back to Emery, but I pretty surmised that was what it was. Illuminate why Cole felt the way he did and how much guilt he felt for Gracie’s accident. I’m interested to see the meeting between Gracie and Emery. That’s gonna be a bone of contention with Cole.

I’m digging this. It has so much going for it. I loved that there’s a bit of a history. There’s a little bit of mystery with for the lost book. I love that Tender Heart series seems to be the fictional account of what happened in Bliss, TX in the 1800s that was written by Cole’s distant relative. He resembles one of the male hero, Rory. I love the tension between Emery and Cole. Lots of chemistry there.
