A bug: The first constituent college of the University of London was only established in 1826 and the offer of Medical study with degrees were not until 1828. Any Englishman who wished to study Medicine would have to go up to Oxford or Cambridge since they were the only two higher education institutions in England and Wales before the creation of UCL and KCL.
