Ugh, I must have typoed my last update so now it looks like I’d previously read way more than I actually had and am going backwards. The inaccuracy haunts me.

This is going to sound like a weird thing to nitpick, & it’s still early in the book so maybe it’ll get more nuanced/realistic as the story unfolds, but: I’m a little skittish about how uncritical the narrative is regarding Travis’s experience with Prepaid Legal. It’s making MLM sound legitimate & reasonable in a way that troubles me. I guess I’ll see if the book maintains the credulous tone throughout!
