Hmmmmmmm.... I would have liked a slightly more climatic event. And a slightly more heart-melting ending. BUT still so good! Sigh. I love Kristen Ashley. <3

Oh. My. God. I WOULD get to the last, like, 13% (roughly 30 pages by my Kindle) at 12:30 in the morning on a weeknight when I have to work the next day.

I might be saying screw sleep to finish this.

"Do you love me?" He followed suit with the yelling.
"Yes! Of course I love you, you big dope! I've loved you since I was five!" I decided to shake it up and this time I screamed.
He took one stride to the bed and leaned a shoulder into my thighs in a body tackle."

MY. HEART. I COULD CRY.

"Forget it," I mumbled.
"Indy?" he called.
"What?" I snapped, kinda pissy.
"I love you." He still had laughter in his voice, and there was something very cool about him laughing and saying I love you at the same time.

BLESS. MY HEART IS SWELLING. LOVE.

I whispered, "You know it's only ever been you."
He heard me.
His body went still. Then his hand fisted in my hair and he tugged my head back. He kissed me, long and sweet, and when he was done, he tucked my face back into his neck.

"I'm an ass. I shouldn't have said that in front of Eddie. I'm sorry."

Shit, shit, shit.
Not only could you not be mad at someone who apologizes, straight out, you couldn't hold a grudge either. It was a double whammy.

MY heart even melted.

"Take them!" I yelled, jerking my arm toward him.
"No, I can't. We were told not to accept a refusal."
"Take them!" I shrieked.
"For God sake, take 'em, man, she's gonna blow," Tex boomed."

I'm CRYING. High-larious.

"Fuck, Indy, you turn me inside out."

"Liar," he whispered. "You've loved me since I held your hand at your mother's memorial service when you were five years old."
