And also, since this book is set in the future, it would be interesting to hear the backstory/evolution on how these features managed to mark a group so distinctly. If it were genetic, based on science there should be some individuals who got mutations that could alter those traits. And how did humans manage to get gold eyes?

One question keeps coming to my mind, even though it's a dumb question and will probably be answered later on: are all the Colors marked by physical features that are the color of whatever rank they are? For example there are Pinks, so do they have pink eyes or something like that?
