I should really stop looking up vocab words. It's shocking how many verbs exist in all languages...

This book is surprisingly touching me. Being focused on immigrants' issues, rights, and history, the author is flawless in depicting intergenerational immigrant conflicts. Even though the story is from 100 years ago, change between generations will never get old as a literary theme. I had said that this book reminds me of East of Eden, and it continues to do so.
