I will probably finish this book tonight.

Urg the end of Part 3 is tear-jerking but I am resistant! And also I like Venli.

okay, this book has once again regained the addictive quality of Words of Radiance. and I think the slower beginning of Oathbringer is paying off now in big ways. I'm really enjoying this book!

I’m really going to miss having Kaladin viewpoints in Part 2 but overall I’m really enjoying this and getting REALLY invested in Dalinar

Part 1 finished! This book had a slower start than Words of Radiance. Not quite as slow as The Way of Kings, but something about it just didn't compel me even the way TWOK did, and certainly not in the way WoR did—now that was a page turner. Part 1 was mostly about exploring this new setting that everyone is in, and it's got a reasonably interesting plot to do so. But I'm more interested in what's coming up next.

I’ve been waiting nearly a million words for Kaladin to do this!!!!
