That would be enough for to quit that book and find a better one. Are you sticking with it?
That's disappointing...
Yeah, they're childhood friends but then he got into debt and needs to marry for...legal reasons...so he's pretty much like, I WANT BABIES. And she is like, NO. And he is like, I ALREADY GOT YOUR FATHER'S PERMISSION. WE MARRY TOMORROW. THEN SEX TIEM. And there's arguments and stupidity and he's like, FINE. YOU HAVE 2 WEEKS TO DO IT YOUR WAY AND THEN I'M GOING TO USE YOU AS A BABY MACHINE.I think I'll read a bit more since I read a lot of bodice-rippers and they are FULL of this wtfuckery, but if the plot and characterization doesn't improve I might mark it as DNF.
