The genre of Sisters is autobiography. I know this because the author, Raina Telgemeier, is writing about herself, Raina Telgemeier. She writes stories of her life and turns them into books for people to enjoy.

If I were to give advice to the main character Raina, I would tell her to have perseverance and push through the difficulties she is having. Raina is in a family road trip with her sister and mom. Everything bad you could think of happened to her, like the Dad losing his job, the parents might split up, her sister being an annoyance, their car breaking down, etc. My advice for Raina is that she needs to push forward

The moral universe in Sisters is just like the moral universe we live in today. You are expected to not break any laws, not to be racist, and to treat your elders with respect. You are expected to drive a car around the age of 17 and you are expected to not drink under 21. Our moral universe is just like the moral universe in Sisters.
