Drama is a realistic fiction. I know this because the main character and her friends attend a normal school and they are in seventh grade. Also, Callie and her friends are all interested in being apart of a play or being the stage crew which seems realistic. Lastly, everyone is a normal human and does normal things such as school, sports, and gossip.

If I could give Callie some advice, I would tell her to think positively. This is because she thinks she does have the carpentry skills, the stage crew is not working well together, and the ticket sales are down. Her goal is to make Moon over Mississippi a play that the audience will love and never forget. So, I’m order to do this she needs to solve her minor problems and have a good mindset.

The moral setting is the same as our modern-day moral setting. Committing crimes such as robbery, assault, or burglary is considered to be wrong in Drama. Doing well in school, treating others the way you would like to be treated, etc. are things that are right. I can tell because this book follows an ordinary teenage girl in modern times. She seems normal because she has a few close friends and attends school.
