I just started this book and so far I feel a great connection between Esperanza and Papa when young. This book is very Hispanic and it takes place in mexico. Her family is very wealthy and this makes me think they struggle with money in the future because the great depression is soon in history time. And I predict that could be a problem in the future. 1930 and the revolution has been over for 10 years in Mexico.
