I am putting this book on hold as I have begun to really loose interest in this franchise. The plot is meandering, the characters are uninteresting (except for Kaladin, but he is not enough for me to get through this behemoth of a book), and the central conflict is incredibly unoriginal for me. Shallan's chapters really kill the pace for me and Dalinar's chapters so far are just....okay. I kinda think I am done

I don't know what it is about this book or this series but my interest has slowly began to wane as I get deeper and deeper into this epic fantasy. For me at least the conflict that is being set up just feels very unoriginal and at this point I feel like I am stumbling through nowhere.
