While I'm not done, I did like how this novel started out. However, some of the characters are not developing. I wanted to add this in progress review so I could go back and update when I finish. Waiting to see if "Blight" is more than a threat and becomes a real antagonist deep character that helps the plot or simply a placeholder. Signs are worrisome.
