I infer that while in the woods, the boy will find something of value or something that is very cool.

The point of view in my book is 3rd person omniscent. I can gain understanding of the book this way because I can see what not only the main character is thinking, but what other characters are thinking as well. If it were told in a different point of view, I would not know as much about the plot and the characters and most likely would not be able to understand what was going on the way I do with this point of view.

The plot in the book that I am reading now is about a boy that is looking for a treasure by points that other people in the area have placed on maps. The plot I read in an old book titled HEAT is about a boy who has a rough life and is good at baseball and is all about her life. These two plots are the same because they are about a boy around the age of 14 that likes to be alone and is trying to find something.

The author used many examples to evoke the mood in this story. The first was the boy who was going on an adventure had to yell at his sister to stop following him and that she had to go do something else because she was always getting in the way. Also he felt like he was being watched from the woods so was looking around to try to find what it was. This showed that he was mean at sometimes but was also fearless.
