2.) Hogwarts has a poltergeist named Peeves
3.) The History of Magic Professor is a ghost.
4.) Hermione trying to convince Harry not to go to the Ministry in OOtP was foreshadowed in book 1. Harry accepts a midnight duel invitation and Draco doesn’t show up but Filch does instead. Hermione immediately knew Harry was set up and too dumb to realize it.

I have decided on this year’s re-read to make my updates from “things you wouldn’t know if you have only watched the movies”.
Update #1: Hagrid isn’t an idiot. He knows how to spell Happy Birthday Harry. Also, SPOILER FOR FUTURE BOOKS, we should have always known that Dumbledore had the elder wand. Hagrid’s “broken wand” was obviously repaired, and only the elder wand could have done that.

One of my absolute favorite things about this book is Fred and George soccer momming their brothers, forcing Ron and Percy to put on their Christmas sweaters and telling Percy he would NOT sit at the prefect table for the feast because CHRISTMAS IS A TIME FOR FAMILY, DAMN IT.
