We meet the main character Lucas who is age 11, he was skipping school to see his uncle Been. Even though he was not supposed to be there, he was trying to see if Uncle Been could convince his mother, and father into letting him play football again. Because he has had 3 concussion in 2 years and his doctor told him not to play football ever again. However the setting of the book is New York city, on September 11.

In todays read there was flashback, into what only happend a few days ago, before 9/11. It really showed how things can really change from one day to the next. It really showes how this event changed the world forever.

In this part of the book there was rising action, the second tower was just hit, and our main character not able to stay by himself anymore, in the firehouse decided to try and find his dad and the rest of his fathers fire department. It took a while but eventually our main character found his dad. However right as this happened the south tower collapsed, but luckily Lucius dad got them into a building.
