I liked the book because it was a teenage girl around my age telling a story. It was relatable and I thought it was overall a good book. The format helped me to understand themes because it helped me see Xiomara’s perspective on the world. I recommend this book to teens, mostly girls, because she explains the thoughts and feelings of girls.
