In my book, an unsympathetic character is a murderer. The murderer is Ben Willis. He is an unsympathetic character because he murdered David Egan after Ben and David’s daughter Susan was involved in a car crash near where the four teenagers hit Ben Willis.

In my book the main characters is Julie. I would say she is confident, adventurous and curious. Julie is very vulnerable when it comes to the story and everything that happens because she can easily be killed. Her motivation was the 4th of July to become a better person and to try to move on from it.

In my book an event where it showed tension was when Ben Willis was in the Bahamas and stalked them and killed them. When this part happened in my book, Ben had been following Julie and her friends and he murdered them. The tool the author used is unexpected events because they were killed.

In my book, the point of view my story is told in is 3rd person omniscient. I know this because on page 2, Julie’s mom said -“you’ve been a completely person and I’ll admit this now, it’s worried me. This shows that the narrator isn’t just focused on the main character and their emotions but other surrounding characters as well.
