In my book, the conflict is character vs. character because the main character is Starr and the character that is causing problems is the officer that shot her friend Khalil. That has created a major conflict for Starr in the book.

In my book, the protagonist is Starr because the book is all about her and revolves around her. The antagonist(s) are the police that shot her friend Khalil because he means a lot to her and that becomes a major challenge for her throughout the book. The loss of her friend changes her and everyone around her.

In my book The Hate U Give, the main character is Starr Carter. She is having to pick either her people from Garden heights or Williamson Prep. In the meantime, one of her best friends Khalil gets shot by a police officer after being pulled over. Based off of this event, I can tell that this will be a huge obstacle for Starr to go through.
