I find it odd that there were more cases where poets reached stages of celebrity in russia. Especially with its strict and ever present class structure, you'd think that more people would become well know that whern't just political leaders.

I have learned a lot about russia in this so far, especially with its constant struggle to westernize. But I feel that it has talked to much about just the political leaders and not enogh on the daily life of the people.
