The structure of this text includes one flashback of when Lara Jean’s mother died when she was younger. Besides the flashback, the story is told in chronological order. A minor character in this book is Margot, Lara Jean and Kitty’s older sister. Before Margot went off to college, she was the “caretaker” of the house, because she became the one who cared for her sisters after their mother died. Margot was very important because without her, Lara Jean and Kitty would’ve taken a long time to get over their mother’s death. Margot helped her sisters heal, and that’s why she’s important.
