Pg 108 " BIlbo swinging in the air with his arms nearly breaking" This sometimes feels like rollercoasters that go really fast and are upsidedown alot. I think i can feel what hes feeling right now too.

Pg 260: "We would see peace once more among dwarves and men and elves after the long desolation; but it may cost you dear in gold. I have spoken" From this, its possible to predict the Lake-Men will be led by Bard to try and take the treasure, as well as elves. According to the bird, distributing alot of the gold could bring peace between all of them.

Pg 251: "And that was the end of Smaug and Esgaroth, but not Bard." Once again, this is worded funny. Im guessing the townsfolk will think the man who killed Smaug is dead, but he wont be. I also wonder what they will do about the treasure on the mountain, since everyone knew about it, and how will the dwarves and hobbit keep the treasure.

Pg 248: Before long, so great was his speed, they could see him as a spark of fire rushing towards them and growing ever huger and more bright." Wording of this section makes me believe the dwarves and the hobbit wont even have to fight Smaug, and that the village people will fight him. I have a feeling that the bird that was on the rock earlier is going to to have a role to play here, and maybe help them kill Smau

Pg 117: "But only in pairs, mind about five minutes between each pair of you" I wonder why he's making them go in 5 minutes apart in pairs. Maybe this guy is afraid of seeing so many people at once or something. He might have another reason, but its hard to tell from here.

Pg 107: "But he never leaped. Just at that moment the Lord of Eagles swept down from above, seized him in his talons, and he was gone." It seems like everytime they run into trouble, they meet a new person to help them. The way this is worded, it sounds like he might not be a friendly person, but I think he might be.

Pg 45: "Is that The Mountain?... Of course not! That is only the beinning of the Misty Mountains...get through somehow before we ca come into Wilderland and beyond". Bilbo really hasnt seen anything outside his house. It must be awful for him to have to walk so far. The author is also hinting sometihng will be going on in the mountain range.

Pg 36: "Yet somehow he could not go straight back to Thorin and company emptyhanded." Bilbo is going to try something and its gonna get him into some big trouble. It really is quite obvious something bad will happen.

Pg 32: "Not until then did they notice that Gandalf was missing" This really seems like a foreshadowing momen. What trouble will they run into? Im guessing robbers or something of that sort.
