In this book, August goes on a sleep away camp in the forest. That means dangerous and unpredictable territory. There is where seventh grade boys start bullying August, but his friends stand up for him. After they run out of the forest though, they are free and safe.

I really want to know what August looks like. He doesn’t describe himself and it really wouldn’t matter that much if I knew, but the suspension of not knowing matters. I also want to know why the author picked the characters and why they know August. Why is Julian the bully? I think it does add conflicts to the story though.
