The tone of one scene is angry because she doesn’t like that she can't point to a house when people ask her where she lives. She doesn’t want to live at the top of a messy, small, and dirty apartment. “I knew then I had to have a house. A real house. One I could point to. But this isn’t it.” She’s upset that she cant brag about her house to other people and that she has to share her room with her siblings.
