Hmmm I hate how each new part feels like the beginning of a new book with more boring setup ... this section while introducing the Cike had many m meets like this boring filler that should have been shaved down. BUT cool stuff did go down. The cheimi was neat. Nehza returning and becoming a friend. The lieutenant rescue and casting of coins. Revealing the federations real plan.

End of part 1: she finally learns to meditate so Jiang lets her use drugs to find her way to the pantheon of the Gods. A speerly woman warns her away from the Phoenix god who only wants to take but of course our selfish self centered girl wants what she wants and doesn’t care about the consequences. She plans on learning to siphon power for war by herself since Jiang won’t hear of using their connection in war.

The menstration thing and womb killing was disgusting... the pig was super funny and adorable... Altan is dreamy and I hope more in Rin’s future!! But the Lore teacher is who I love... he’s crazy, smart, creative and unusual!

Uuuh wow! After that piss poor beginning that became monotonously repetitive with her having to cram, not sleeping and being treated like crap... then the Lore teacher takes an interest in a desperate thief of a girl who has been expelled from combat. What a turn around!! That tournament battle was super exciting!
