For the duration of this book, Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Thalia, Artemis, Zoe, and Bianca are given a prophecy that says that not all of them will survive. They travel across the U.S. to complete the prophecy and run into several monsters. In the end, Bianca and Zoe have died to save the others and now they trying not to get vaporized by the gods and goddesses.
