Right now in the novel, Mrs. Woodlawn was unsuccessful selling her turkey’s and she is very mad about it. I think that Caddie is a very free person and very brave based on all the adventures she goes on with only her two brothers. Caddie doesn’t want to be a proper lady instead she wants to be a tomboy. I find this fascinating because I would definitely not want to run around in the water and meet the Indians.
